A new restaurant arises from the horizon: it’s the classic diner everyone loves, Denny’s. The new location can be found on Brentwood Boulevard, next to other iconic restaurants like Panda Express, Starbucks, and Chipotle.
The Denny’s has been recently opened and serves customers 24/7. It also has an app and website you are able to order through for pick up.
The original Denny’s restaurant was founded in 1953, and was called “Danny’s Donuts." They
served as a coffee and donut cafe. They would later change the name to Denny’s to avoid
confusion with another popular restaurant at the time.
The Denny’s location opened on Monday, April 1st this year. This location not only has inside
seating, but an outside patio where customers can eat. It is very clean on the inside and has a very nice aesthetic to it, but it is overall kind of subpar.
When visiting the location, Gavin Cameron, a senior student here at Liberty High School, had said, “It wasn’t too good or bad. I’d rather a place cheaper and the taste wasn’t too good."
The pricing at Denny's is quite high for what you would expect for breakfast food, but even
higher for other meals on their menu. The average price of a breakfast meal is about 16 dollars.
Jeremy, a senior student, had said “The burger was ok, but kinda expensive so I’ll stick to their breakfast if I go back.”
